I wanna ask an opinion. Ok...My friend Jeanette has soulbonds too. And she informed me she's.....er...well, getting married to one. o_O; Um, yeah. Anyway...I just wanted to see what all you people thought about that. I have mixed feelings. Personally I think that on some other plain of exsistance soulbonds really do exsist; sorta like an alternate reality type thing. But...getting married to one? I d'no..It's....eh, an interesting idea.

Yeah, I've heard of that before. Don't really get it, but whatever toasts your bread I suppose.

{eats toast}
...................
........ {stops eating the toast} Oh yes! What were we talking about?
{ahem} Has your friend been in some recent failed relationships, or been pining over someone that she either hasnt told her feelings to or doesnt reciprocate her feelings? If so, this may be a sort of way of "protecting" herself from not-just-in-her-head relationships. Any thoughts on that theory?

well, after finally climbing out of my own skull after seven years. I have to say. Even people whose lives dont revolve around the workings of their own utopia that they have created for themselves in their own minds, are crazy. yes, EVERYBODY. there is no exception, we're all batty, just some moreso than others.

*laughs* I agree with Koku. Some just cover up for it well. XD
Anyway....well, she broke up with her boyfriend about a year ago, and I know she has crushes and is currently single.....But she's told me, repeatedly, that she's over her ex, so...I d'no. And everyone has crushes. *shrugs*

well...that's admittedly kind of *ahem* strange...but whatever works for her....
It's true though, some people are just naturally more crazy than others. Say, for example, me. Granted I'm crazy in th best possible way you understand, but I digress....the point is....I can't remember....

I like that one quote, about the line between madness and genius, how thin it is. I think this board consists solidly of people that walk that line, with heads held high. I know I am mad, but i see the chaos as a beautiful, functional thing, that i can use to achieve my own idealistic, and unconventional ideas.

I myself, as in me personally, wouldn't be so presumptuous as to insinuate that I was even close to the level of genius, d00d. But madness, maybe.

I've walked that line, and I still walk that line, and I've also fallen on both sides of it. I didn't really like either side; I very much so do like the line though.

I think Jade's train of thought is on the right track. It also might be more of a defence mechanism- either because she's hurt, or because she's lonely and thinks there's no hope.
But whatever. Everyone has a different bond and a different idea of what "soulbonding" truely is. Having a relationship with a SB may seem like crack to us, but perfectly normal to others.
